Yes, we all want strong, beautiful feet with an arch to die for. But, at what cost?
There is a new copy of the wooden foot stretcher on the market and is openly advertising all throughout Social Media that it is a "safe" product for children as young as 8 to use.
THIS IS NOT SAFE!
Unless under the guidance of a medical professional, no child under the age of 11 or 12, under any circumstance should be using any foot stretcher to manipulate their feet; and that includes our THE-footstretcher™.
Because until about the age of 11-12, a childs feet are growing. Their growth plates are soft and easily damaged,. Growing feet will be permanently damaged if they are exposed to the manual manipulation applied by ANY foot stretcher (again, unless under professional medical application).
If you read our product disclaimers, we are very clear that THE-footstretcher™ is ONLY for users aged 11 or 12 or above AND that if around this younger age, they have been assessed by a professional dance physiotherapist to ensure they have passed a "pre-pointé assessment".
Don't take our word for it, ask your physiotherapist. Yes, some in this industry are of an age old opinion that they need to be against ALL foot stretchers. That's ok, that's their opinion; just like it was the opinion of the day that the world was flat until Christopher Columbus proved otherwise. But this opinion has been formed (and justifiably so) thanks to the poor and dangerous designs of other style foot stretchers (made from timber) with zero flexibility, zero training and zero additions such as dedicated massage and strength building inclusions.

Under the appropriate age to use this product but still want to stretch your feet?
It's simple. Grab a tennis or massage ball and a stretch band and follow basic flex and stretch exercises that accompany these bands. Roll the sole of your foot over the tennis ball as you curve your foot. That's all you need to do.
